MACA is seeking an HSEQ Advisor to join the team at the Duketon Gold Project in the Goldfields of Western Australia. With an 8:6 roster, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency, safety, and responsibility of the mining operations at Duketon.

 

Joining forces with Regis Resources for over a decade, we have upheld the strong operation of this significant gold mine. As the HSEQ Advisor, you will provide essential HSE support and guidance to on-site teams, supervisors, and trainers. Acting as a key link between the corporate HSEQ Department, the project, and client senior teams, your role is pivotal in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

 

  • Provide support and services associated with Health, Safety and Environment matters to the Project Manager and the Project Team.
  • Coordinate site based health, safety, and environment activities to ensure the competence and wellbeing of people, the integrity of equipment, and the safe handling of materials.
  • Ensure that all personnel and subcontractor personnel are adequately instructed concerning safety procedures and systems and that these are complied with.
  • Facilitate incident investigations, risk assessments and safety training - producing high quality results.
  • Develop, Conduct Monthly Toolbox Talks
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections.
  • Provide data-driven health & safety performance reports.
