The Role & Project

Due to ongoing project awards MACA Interquip Mintrex is currently seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join our growing team here in West Perth.

MACA Interquip Mintrex is a division of MACA Ltd and is a multi-disciplinary company with a proven track record in delivering small to large scale EPC and EPCM projects for the resources sector specializing in the design and construction of mineral processing facilities for clients across Australia.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design High Voltage and Low Voltage Single Line Diagrams
  • Prepare engineering lists such as Cable Schedule, Electrical Load List, Electrical Equipment List,

  • Create Electrical Equipment and Instrument Data Sheets

  • Design Drive and Control Schematics, Network Block, Cable Ladder, Grounding & Lighting.
  • Drafting of site layouts, mechanical and structural components, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Provide technical information to aid with the preparation of Datasheets.

 

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum three (3) years engineering experience, ideally in the mineral processing industry.
  • Police Clearance (when asked to provide one).
  • Drafting package experience or exposure.
  • Electrical design package experience or exposure.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
  • Effective organisation and planning skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suit and Autodesk suite, specifically AutoCAD, Navisworks, Plant 3D and Advance Steel.
