As a proud Thiess company, MACA will provide Mobile Crushing services at a greenfield copper mine in North West Queensland, located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People.
MACA is seeking a Crushing Operator with Mobile Crushing experience to join our team working on this exciting new project on a 2:1 roster.
Locals in North West Queensland, including Members of the Kalkadoon community and other First Nations people, are highly encouraged to apply for this role on a BIBO basis. Depending on the successful candidate and the candidate’s location, the role can also be offered on a FIFO roster from either Townsville or Brisbane with accommodation on site.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Demonstration experience operating Mobile crushers.
- Ability to assist with the servicing and maintenance of crushers.
- Sound knowledge of jaw crushers, cone crusher and conveyors
- Previous experience on Terex, Metso, Striker and McCloskey crushing equipment advantageous.
- Ability to operate Cat 980 and WA600 Loaders
- Sound communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously or in a team
- Commitment to safety in the workplace
