MACA is seeking experienced Drill and Digger Fitters to join our Gruyere Gold Mine Maintenance Team on a 2:1 roster. Work on a fleet of CAT 6060 Shovels, Sandvik DR410i, DI650i and DP 1500 / 1600 drills, Komatsu PC1250 and Liebherr 9600/9400/9200 excavators.
The Gruyere Gold Mine is an open pit operation located within the Yamarna greenstone belt approximately 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia – less than a 2 hour flight from Perth straight into site!

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Mobile Plant Trade).
- HR Drivers Licence.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working on drills and/or excavators
- Strong problem-solving ability including diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across various fleets and machinery.
- Experience in an open pit mining environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Must present with a “Can Do” attitude to work and safety.
