The Role & Project

 

MACA are seeking experienced Heavy Duty Fitters to join our maintenance team at our Gruyere project.

 

The Gruyere Gold Mine is an open pit operation located within the Yamarna greenstone belt approximately 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia.

 

Some of the fleet you can expect to work on include CAT 785 & Komatsu 830E Haul trucks, Liebherr 9400 and Komatsu PC1250 excavators, Sandvic and Epiroc drills, CAT D10 dozers & CAT 16M Graders.

To be successful in this role, you will require

  

  • Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Cert
  • Surface mining equipment fleet experience 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fault find complex mechanical and hydraulic problems.
  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Good knowledge and ability to follow work health & safety procedures and policies
