MACA Mining are seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join our ‘diggers and drills’ team at our Gruyere project.

The Gruyere Gold Mine is an open pit operation located within the Yamarna greenstone belt approximately 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia.

The drill fleet onsite include Sandvik DR410i’s, Sanvik leopard D1650i’s and CAT MD6250’s

The excavator fleet include Liebherr 9400’s and Komatsu 1200

Key responsibilities:

 

 

  •          Possess a positive leadership style, with exceptional time-management skills and the ability to pivot around priorities while providing guidance, assistance, and supervision to the       maintenance team.
  •         Manage performance, planning servicing, repair and preventative maintenance on the digger and drills onsite
  •         Ensure work health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to
  •         Ensure all required paperwork is completed to a high standard by tradespeople
  •         Must be proactive in the workplace to ensure quality work is being completed
  •         Must comply with reasonable request from the supervisor

 

 

 

To be successful in this role, you will have; 

 

  •          Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Cert
  •          Extensive surface mining digger and drill maintenance experience
  •          Good leadership and people skills
  •          Basic computer skills
