MACA is in search of experienced Maintenance Planner to join the team at Gruyere on an 8/6 roster.

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for assisting the Senior Maintenance Planner in producing, planning and monitoring of preventative maintenance programmes and schedules for fixed and mobile plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly review and update the Plant Management Plan.
- Implement and control all work order requests.
- Develop long and short term programmes to help the Maintenance planner will optimise the effectiveness and increase the reliability of all fixed and mobile plant and equipment.
- Identify equipment not meeting reliability and other improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules including developing cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work.
- Carry out maintenance risk analysis for sites in regards to plant and equipment.
- Ensure accuracy of the job records database and the plant and equipment maintenance history.
- Ensure key performance indicators are captured and reported for equipment reliability, maintenance performance and planning and scheduling flow process.
- Collaborate with maintenance supervision and others to schedule manpower and resources for the most effective production and maintenance outcomes.
- Actively participate in scheduling meetings with maintenance managers to finalise priority of work orders and optimise downtime windows and necessary lead-times.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- 5 + years’ experience in mining production/maintenance environment
- Sound knowledge of process technologies and equipment relevant to the open-cut mining industry
- Previous experience in mobile and fixed plant maintenance planning and scheduling including
- Heavy Plant/Mechanical Trade Certificate desirable
- Sound computer literacy
- Strong communication skills
