Key Responsibilities:
- Lead maintenance personnel, identify areas of improvement and provide coaching and development strategies.
- Oversee scheduled maintenance and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce field breakdowns.
- Monitor equipment performance to ensure optimal utilisation and limit down time.
- Monitor parts and equipment requirements.
- Commitment, respect and compliance to the MACA health, safety and environmental practices.
- Actively participates and contributes to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the supervision and management of maintenance personnel in an open pit mining environment.
- Proven experience in ensuring our plant and equipment is maintained to a high safety, productive and reliable standard in a timely manner.
- Trade qualification.
- Sound knowledge of safe mining and earthmoving practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must, allowing you to build relationships across the team and departments.
