MACA Mining are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our central team based in Welshpool to support the Gruyere project.

The Gruyere Gold Project is located within the Yamarna greenstone belt approximately 200km east of Laverton in Western Australia.

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Contributing to the achievement of budgeted plant availability and cost control through constant review of equipment performance and developing proactive and remedial improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure the active project task list is kept up to date.
  • Manage internal and OEM product improvement programs.
  • Conduct, monitor and report on product improvement trials
  • Collating and preparing information to produce KPI, budget and cost reports as required.
  • Ensuring effective planning is obtained through communication with maintenance, supply, operations and management.
  • Provide feedback and input into the planning process in order to include enhancements, modifications and updates are communicated and actioned.
  • Provide quantifiable strategy recommendations based on historical trends, failure modes, component lives and economic options available.
  • Conduct failure analysis, component strip-down analysis in conjunction with OEM workshops.
  • Participate in safety incident reports and investigations where required.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • Recognised bachelor’s degree in mechanical Engineer
  • Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge and theory across asset management principles and standards.
  • Sound Understanding of Reliability Centred Maintenance and Condition Monitoring Practices
  • Excellent technical problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Data Sourcing and Manipulation and KPI report.
  • Minimum 5 years mining/earthmoving environment.
