MACA are seeking experienced Trade Assistant / Franna operator to join our maintenance team at our Gruyere project.
The Gruyere Gold Mine is an open pit operation located within the Yamarna greenstone belt approximately 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia.

Your role will include the below duties:
- Carry out inspections of lifting equipment and tagging where required.
- Operate Mac25 Franna for crane lifts in the maintenance department.
- Operate overhead gantry crane.
- Rigging and Dogging loads
- General TA duties, Bins and cleaning,
- Yard maintenance.
- Maintain wash pad sump.
- Operate flatbed tilt tray truck
- Loading and unloading freight trucks if required.
- Occasional parts runs.
- Operate EWP.
- Operate I.T Loader
- Bus operating
- Assist HD Fitters and Service people.

To be successful in this role, you will require
- Crane ticket, C6 or equivalent
- EWP ticket
- High Risk Work Licence – C6, LF, EWP, DG, RB
- Working at Heights
- HR drivers License
- Chain of responsibility
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Good knowledge and ability to follow Work Health & Safety procedures and policies.
- Previous mine site experience as a TA / Franna operator
