The Role

 

MACA are seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Fitters to join our project teams across a number of our sites. MACA are offering a suite of equipment and providing you with the opportunity to further develop your skillset. We are offering 2:1 and 2:2 rosters with FIFO and DIDO options from Perth, selected regional townsites and interstate.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

 

  • Qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or Fitter (Australian Trade Qualification or Formally Recognised Equivalent)
  • A forklift and dogging license and experience will be advantageous
  • Previous experience with the overhaul, repair and re-manufacture of mechanical and hydraulic components, preferably within the Mining, Earth moving, Agriculture and/or Construction equipment space
  • Have the ability to recognise product quality deviations/faults
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
  • A National Police Clearance (Less than 6 months old)
  • Committed to maintaining a safe working environment
  • Be capable/willing to work shift work including overtime as required
