MACA is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Boilermaker to join our Karlawinda Gold Project Maintenance Team on a 2:1 roster.

 

Located near Newman in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, The Karlawinda Gold Project is a high-quality, long-life open-pit gold mine owned by Capricorn Metals. It’s one of the newest and most productive gold operations in the state, with a projected mine life of over a decade and ongoing production that exceeds 100,000 ounces of gold per year.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Trade Certificate in Engineering Fabrication or Equivalent
  • Experience working on Heavy mobile mining equipment - CAT, Komatsu, Epiroc etc
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing adjustments and timely repair of heavy mobile plant equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • HR Drivers Licence preferable
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Good knowledge and ability to follow work health & safety procedures and policies
