MACA is seeking skilled and safety-focused Drill Fitters to join our Karlawinda Gold Project Maintenance Team on a 2:1 roster.
Located near Newman in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, The Karlawinda Gold Project is a high-quality, long-life open-pit gold mine owned by Capricorn Metals. It’s one of the newest and most productive gold operations in the state, with a projected mine life of over a decade and ongoing production that exceeds 100,000 ounces of gold per year.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Mechanical Engineering Trade).
- HR Drivers Licence.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working on EPIROC drills (D65 and PV231).
- Strong problem-solving ability including diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across various fleets and machinery.
- Experience in an open pit mining environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Must present with a “Can Do” attitude to work and safety.
