MACA is on the hunt for an Operational Technology Specialist to join our mining business on a permanent, full-time basis, working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth to Karlawinda Gold Project.

Key result areas include:
- Support, install and maintain site-based technology systems including but not limited to GPS guidance (HPGPS), fleet management (FMS), in vehicle monitoring (IVMS), collision avoidance (CAS), autonomy, payload management systems and more
- Manage and maintain communications infrastructure (solar trailers, 2 way radio systems, LTE, point-to-point links and more).
- Deliver technical support: troubleshoot, update software, configure hardware, and lead upgrades.
- Maintain secure networks aligned with MACA cyber security protocols.
- Coordinate subcontractors during deployments and system upgrades.
- Develop SOPs, risk assessments, schematics, inventory plans, and training material.
- Monitor technology system performance to drive uptime, innovation, and value.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade or technical qualification with an electrical background, or equivalent practical experience
- Field-based mining communications experience (highly desirable), with knowledge of GPS systems, fleet management systems (FMS), in-vehicle monitoring systems (IVMS), collision avoidance systems (CAS), autonomy, payload management systems, and related technologies
- Demonstrated up-to-date knowledge of current industry technologies and trends
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- High attention to safety, quality, and systems thinking
- Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
