MACA are looking for experienced Dump Truck Operators to join our team at Karlawinda on a 2:1 roster. Located near Newman and backed by Capricorn Metals, Karlawinda is an established gold project with plenty of opportunity for long-term, consistent work.

You’ll be part of a reliable and supportive load and haul crew, playing a key role in keeping production on track. We’re after operators who are safety-focused, take pride in their work, and enjoy being part of a crew that works well together and gets the job done right.

Key responsibilities:

 

·         Safely operate Hitachi 3500 and Komatsu 1500 (or similar) in a production mining environment

·         Conduct pre-start checks and report any faults or maintenance issues

·         Work closely with the team to meet daily production targets

·         Always follow site safety procedures and environmental guidelines

·         Maintain a clean and tidy cab and operate machinery with care

·         Contribute to a positive team culture and support safe work practices

·         Adapt to changing site conditions and tasks as required

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

·         Proven experience operating Hitachi 3500 and Komatsu 1500 (or similar) in a production mining environment

·         Current WA Drivers Licence (essential)

·         Strong commitment to safety and following site procedures

·         Able to commit to an on-going 2:1 roster

·         Excellent communication skills
