MACA are seeking experienced Leading Hand HD Fitters to join our maintenance team on a 2/1 roster, flying from Perth to Ravensthorpe.
The Ravensthorpe Nickel Project, owned by First Quantum Minerals (FQM), Located 35km’s east of Ravensthorpe, Western Australia.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
- HR Class manual driver's license – essential.
- CPR Training – advantageous.
- First Aid – advantageous.
- Hose Training – advantageous.
- Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Leading Hand will possess strong mechanical skills, including fault finding and diagnosing.
- Possess a positive leadership style, with exceptional time-management skills and the ability to pivot around priorities while providing guidance, assistance, and supervision to the maintenance team.
- Manage performance, planning servicing, repair and preventative maintenance on all heavy mining equipment.
- Excavator Liebherr R9200 – Komatsu PC1250 - Dozer – CAT D9T / D10T - Grader – CAT 16H /16M - Dump Truck – CAT 785 / 777 - Komatsu HD1500 – Watercart CAT 777/740 - Drill Rig – Atlas T45
- Must present with a “Can Do” attitude to work health and safety.
