Are you a skilled HSEQ Advisor looking for a role in a dynamic company prioritizing "People First"? Join us at the McPhee Creek Iron Ore Project, situated 30km north of Nullagine in WA's north-east Pilbara region.
With a project duration of three years, we handle mine load and haul operations of up to 10 million tonnes annually, transporting the ore to Roy Hill for processing. As part of our team, you will offer HSE support and direction to on-site teams, supervisors, and trainers, acting as a vital liaison between the corporate HSEQ Department, the project, and client senior teams.
Our work schedule follows an 8/6 roster, providing HSE team members with extensive opportunities for professional growth and career advancement. You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Provide support and services associated with Health, Safety and Environment matters to the Project Manager and the Project Team.
- Coordinate site based health, safety, and environment activities to ensure the competence and wellbeing of people, the integrity of equipment, and the safe handling of materials.
- Ensure that all personnel and subcontractor personnel are adequately instructed concerning safety procedures and systems and that these are complied with.
- Facilitate incident investigations, risk assessments and safety training - producing high quality results.
- Develop, Conduct Monthly Toolbox Talks
- Conduct regular workplace inspections.
- Provide data-driven health & safety performance reports.
