MACA Mining are seeking a Trainee Shotfirer to join our team on a 2:1 roster at McPhee Creek Iron Ore project, a brand-new venture proudly powered by Atlas Iron. Located 30km North of Nullagine, this site offers fresh opportunities as it kicks off an exciting new mine operation.

Key responsibilities:
- Load blast holes with explosives and stemming material as per design specifications
- Set up and maintain exclusion zones and signage to ensure site safety during blasting activities
- Support the Shotfirer with charging operations and tie-in procedures
- Conduct pre- and post-blast inspections to ensure site compliance and safety
- Follow all site-specific and statutory safety protocols and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Shotfirers licence
- Dangerous Goods Security Card
- Current Manual Drivers Licence
- Experience with Electronics or Nonel
