The M80 Ring Road Alliance (comprising of MACA, Acciona and AECOM) has been selected to design and construct the M80 Ring Road Completion Project. We are seeking to appoint a Traffic Administrator to join our team based in the Bundoora and Watsonia area. This position will provide administrative and logistical support for the traffic team and the wider project construction team.

 

This package of works covers the design and construction of the North East Link between the M80 - Plenty Rd interchange, and the north tunnel entrance at Watsonia. Works include three kilometres of new freeway, two kilometres of freeway upgrades, construction of retaining walls and bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, and urban design and landscaping. This diverse and challenging project will be complete in 2028.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Enter and review traffic management bookings within the projects Traffic Management System (Toofa)
  • Track and manage project Memorandum of Authorisation permits (MoA) within the Toofa system and ensure MoA renewals are requested in a timely manner
  • Liaise with Traffic Team members to identify and manage traffic booking clashes
  • Liaise with Traffic Supervisors to rationalise traffic management crews on bookings
  • Attend meetings with Traffic Communications team to align traffic bookings, prepare meeting minutes and reports
  • File post implementation shift reports from traffic control suppliers
  • Reconcile traffic management dockets

 

We are looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience working in an administrative position
  • Ability to cope with competing demands and a fast-paced environment
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability and self-confidence to liaise effectively with all levels of management and internal and external staff
  • Experience in the construction industry highly regarded
