Due to growth of our Electrical Team, MACA Interquip Mintrex is currently seeking a Senior Electical Engineer or Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team here in West Perth.

MACA Interquip Mintrex is a division of MACA Ltd and is a multi-disciplinary company with a proven track record in delivering small to large scale EPC and EPCM projects for the resources sector specializing in the design and construction of mineral processing facilities for clients across Australia.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design high voltage and low voltage electrical systems
  • Prepare engineering lists such as cable schedules, load lists, electrical equipment lists & instrument lists.
  • Prepare electrical equipment and instrument data sheets.
  • Design drive and control schematics, network block diagrams, termination drawings, cable ladder layouts, earthing & lighting.
  • Prepare tender submissions for electrical & instrumentation packages. Tender analysis & evaluation, recommendation for award.
  • Liaise with clients, estimating, procurement, vendors, sub-contractors, QA / QC, and management.
  • Technical guidance and engineering support for in-house and sub-contracting drafters

 

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, or an Electrical License with extensive project management and engineering design experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years engineering experience, ideally in the mineral processing industry.
  • Australian C class drivers’ licence.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Police Clearance (when asked to provide one).
  • Electrical & Instrumentation design package experience or exposure.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Commitment to safety and progressive learning in the workplace.
  • Capacity to engage constructively and respectfully with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities to achieve high quality outcomes.
