An exciting opportunity has become available to join the MACA Team as an Events Co-ordinator. You will be the lead for all major MACA events, many of which support our community partnerships, significantly impacting life-changing cancer research and youth mental health services, 

In this role, you will orchestrate high-quality events, ensuring seamless execution and leaving a lasting impact through effective event management. Based in our Welshpool Office, this permanent position offers a chance to make a real difference.

Responsibilities

 

  • Plan, coordinate and deliver end-to-end event logistics.
  • Develop event plans and run sheets. Track budget.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including venues, suppliers, caterers, equipment hire firms and partners.
  • Ensure events meet compliance and safety requirements. Where applicable, arrange permits and insurance.
  • Develop invitations and other base communications. Collate guest lists and track RSVPs.
  • Assist with social media and other promotional collateral, including merchandise.
  • Be a key contact on event day, coordinating activity, troubleshooting any issues and staying calm and focused throughout.
  • Maintain quality records of process and activity.
  • Conduct post-event reviews and look for opportunities to continuously improve.
