MACA requires an experienced Administrator to join our Field Service team located in our corporate office in Welshpool.

As the Field Service Administrator, you will be responsible for a centralised, systems drive coordination for contractor labour and compliance, while also assisting with broader departmental functions including training needs analysis, hiring, cost management, employee engagement, and project coordination.

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Streamlines labour requests from sites through a dedicated coordinator, freeing operational teams to focus on core site priorities.
  • Drives consistent contractor performance, compliance, and competitive cost management through effective vendor liaison and PO management.
  • Assists with development of Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps and workforce development opportunities.
  • Supports hiring processes for future employees to meet growing operational demands.
  • Plays an active role in employee engagement, fostering a motivated and high-performing workforce.
  • Provides critical support to Field Service Coordinators in daily duties and project engagement, including shutdowns and mobilization.
  • Enables efficient cost management through diligent tracking of labour expenses and vendor rates.
  • Obtain and evaluate quotes to ensure competitive and fair labour rates.
  • Manage Purchase Orders and vendor relationships ensuring high service quality.
  • Track and update contractor performance and compliance records.
  • Maintain and update contractor rosters and mobilisation schedules.
  • Enter and verify timesheets accurately for payroll and invoicing.

 

 

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • 5 years in field service coordination or administration in resources or construction.
  • Proven ability to source labour competitively and manage budgets.
  • MS Excel (advanced), ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Pronto), timesheet & rostering tools
  • Familiarity with Training Needs Analysis and employee development processes.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, projects, and administrative workflows.
  • Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
  • Effective organisation and planning skills.
