The Role:

 

MACA is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team in a permanent position, based in the Welshpool corporate office.

 

The Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for all white-collar recruitment across the Australia West business. This includes site-based roles, corporate and the proactive management of our talent pools. The role requires strategic acumen, relationship cultivation and hands-on execution to fulfill the hiring requirements of the Australia West businessYou will be a key member of a close-knit team and directly contribute to the effectiveness of our project delivery and success. You will be someone who takes on challenges, thrives on being busy, and also likes to be part of a positive, supportive team environment where we aim to have fun along the way.

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify, attract and secure qualified staff candidates for hard to fill roles with a strong focus on diverse candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, the talent team, HR representatives and other stakeholders to ascertain hiring needs and priorities.
  • Employ strategic thinking and industry insights to drive effective candidate engagement and acquisition.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates, fostering a strong talent pipeline.
  • Employ a hands-on approach to execute sourcing initiatives efficiently and effectively.
  • Continuously assess and refine sourcing methodologies to optimise outcomes and adapt to evolving market trends.
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the candidate evaluation and selection process.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging sourcing technologies to enhance recruitment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate in the development of a monthly recruitment metrics dashboard to assess the effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition team’s sourcing strategies.

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience recruiting technical and professional talent.
  • Demonstrated experience in building professional talent pools with a strong focus on diversity.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
  • Effective organisation and planning skills.
