The Role:
MACA is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team in a permanent position, based in the Welshpool corporate office.
The Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for all white-collar recruitment across the Australia West business. This includes site-based roles, corporate and the proactive management of our talent pools. The role requires strategic acumen, relationship cultivation and hands-on execution to fulfill the hiring requirements of the Australia West business. You will be a key member of a close-knit team and directly contribute to the effectiveness of our project delivery and success. Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify, attract and secure qualified staff candidates for hard to fill roles with a strong focus on diverse candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, the talent team, HR representatives and other stakeholders to ascertain hiring needs and priorities.
- Employ strategic thinking and industry insights to drive effective candidate engagement and acquisition.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates, fostering a strong talent pipeline.
- Employ a hands-on approach to execute sourcing initiatives efficiently and effectively.
- Continuously assess and refine sourcing methodologies to optimise outcomes and adapt to evolving market trends.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the candidate evaluation and selection process.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging sourcing technologies to enhance recruitment effectiveness.
- Collaborate in the development of a monthly recruitment metrics dashboard to assess the effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition team’s sourcing strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience recruiting technical and professional talent.
- Demonstrated experience in building professional talent pools with a strong focus on diversity.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
- Effective organisation and planning skills.
