The Role:

 

MACA are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team on a fixed term contract up to 12 months, working Monday to Friday in the Welshpool corporate office.

 

You will be a key member of a close-knit team and directly contribute to the effectiveness of our project delivery and success. To be successful in this role, you will possess:

 

  • Previous experience in high volume blue-collar mining production recruitment.
  • Advanced sourcing techniques to build strong talent pipelines and place hard to fill vacancies.
  • Strong focus on diversity and inclusion by actively seeking to hire individuals from various backgrounds, cultures and perspectives.
  • Experience in writing and posting job advertisements on external platforms (e.g. SEEK, LinkedIn, Job Boards, shortlisting, screening, interviewing, due diligence and offer management).
  • Experience with candidate databases - Success Factors would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Strong administration skills and MS Office skills specifically in MS Word and Excel.
  • The ability to maintain reporting requirements.
  • Attention to detail and able to meet site compliance requirements.
  • A proactive and flexible approach.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • To attract, develop, motivate, and retain a quality workforce.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Provide expert advice on recruitment sourcing strategies and market trends.
  • Recruitment of blue-collar production personnel to meet manning requirements.
  • Develop and maintain genuine relationships with labour hire partners, candidates and internal stakeholders including Mining Superintendents and Project Managers.
  • Provide recruitment data to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Strive to establish a culture encompassing the vision and core values of MACA.
  • Actively participate and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.
