The Role & Project
MACA Mining is currently looking for a Technical Training Superintendent. This role is responsible for the technical training team who look after compliance training, skills development and leave coverage across various sites of MACA Ltd.
The position involves working with Project Managers and Supervisors to plan and strategise upskilling of workers on mobile equipment. Train and assess competencies held and arrange any external training for the site, in collaboration with the Trainer Assessor and Project Manager. Design and implement process improvement projects/activities and system audits, documenting appropriately and completing within agreed timeframes.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Relevant Certificates and Licences to the position
- Cert IV TAE 40116 qualification
- 5+ years’ experience as an operator in resource industry production
- Understanding of the Mines Safety Inspection Act and Regulations
- Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
- Effective organisation and planning skills
- Ability to maintain regular site travel schedule as required.
