MACA Infrastructure are seeking a Plant Operator (Tipper) to join our team based in Mt Evelyn, maintaining the Yarra Ranges. The position will be responsible for achieving set targets in a safe and timely manner with the plant they have been assessed as competent in operating.

Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Carry out pre-start checks to ensure the machine is safe to operate.
  • Operate plant in an efficient and effective manner in order to achieve the shift production targets.
  • Report any faults and defects of plant immediately to the Supervisor.
  • Report all hazards, incidents, near misses and accidents immediately to the Supervisor.
  • Carry out any other tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Actively participate and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.

 

We are looking for:

 

  • Tipper Truck driver with HR license and experience driving on unsealed roads
  • Familiarity with or local to the Yarra Ranges Shire
  • Commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Construction white card
